Comet & Progress was founded in 1956 by Mr. Yacov Benjamin and has been serving the Israeli Automotive Aftermarket arena ever since. The company operates through three divisions specializing in Automotive Spare Parts, Refinish Paint and Non Paint Materials, Work Shop and Body Shop Equipment. Comet & Progress is proud to be an exclusive distributor for prominent companies such as Axalta, 3M, Nussbaum, Finkbeiner, Herkules and more, and to be the Local Branch of ADI – Auto Distribution International. one of the largest Central Buying Groups in Europe, Hence representing a large number of leading corporations such as Mann & Hummel, Valeo, Nissens, Delphi, ZF, Textar, Gates, Kayaba, Sangsin Brakes – Hi-Q and more. Our company employs a team of over 90 sales-reps, technitians, technical experts as well as a dedicated logisic team. Comet covers the entire Israeli market, Gaza and the West Bank and is actively serving more than 1,500 customers on a regular basis. Our customers include OES importers in their own main service stations, Rental and Leasing companies, the IDF (Israel Defence Force), the Israeli Airport Authority, Bus assembly manufacturers, public transportation companies, testing station, garages, body shops, car dealers, spare parts retailers and other large institutions.
