Comet Corn Information

Comet Corn is a vending cart or booth from which we sell ORGANIC POPCORN (that we pick up directly from the grower) and PERUVIAN TOASTING CORN flavored with CUSTOM BLENDED SPICES of hot, savory, herb, cheese and sweet toppings. The corn is popped in small batches and served fresh. The cart itself is of stainless steel construction, 3'x7' in dimension. The popper is propane powered, the stirring motor is solar and battery powered, as are the display and task lighting. While the cart is free standing, because of health regulations at public events a screened canopy is necessary, therefore requiring a 10'x10' footprint. Our goal food-wise is to provide a unique, reasonably priced healthy snack. The premium quality organic yellow butterfly corn is cooked in non-gmo rice bran oil using no artificial flavors or colors. Served in biodegradable paper bags, these fun foods are offered with selection of: non bgh real butter, roasted garlic olive oil, organic olive oil, Braggs liquid aminos or seasoned rice vinegar. The customer then can choose from a galaxy of natural flavors to shake on including: Cinnamon Toast (organic) Maple Syrup (organic) Honey Nutritional Yeast (organic) Garlic (organic) Cheese blend (organic) Pesto (organic) Coconut Curry Bloody Mary Cayenne (organic) Jalepeno and Honey Mole (chocolate + Chiles) And we are always experimenting for new sensations!! Flavors are color designated into ranges of sweet and mild (green), medium and savory (yellow) and hot (red). If additional boost is desired Tabasco hot sauce is available. The Comet Corn staff offer a very interactive approach, providing recommendations and sample tastes to acquaint prospective snackers to the product and possibilities. We invite the customer to shake on their choice and amount of seasoning,or combination of seasonings to suit their own taste preferences.
