Dr. Kuo founded Comdek in 1985, embodying the spirit of a pioneer by actively expanding into the international market and promoting the globalization of the company. Between 1989 and 1991, Comdek established subsidiaries in the United States, Germany, and Switzerland, insisting on providing services and operations under the Comdek brand while maintaining localized operations. As a result, Comdek has become an integral part of the global supply chain. In 1992, Comdek ventured into the biomedical industry, investing in the research and development of advanced medical devices. Dr. Kuo's background spans science, engineering, and management, with extensive industrial and academic experience in information technology and biomedicine. Since 2007, he has been teaching at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). From 2011 to 2014, Dr. Kuo served as the chairman of the Taiwan Medical and Biotech Industry Association (TMBIA), where he actively promoted industrial upgrading, regulatory harmonization, and the opening of capital markets to create a competitive environment for Taiwan's biotechnology industry. As an industry leader, Dr. Kuo is frequently invited by government agencies and academia to provide advice in the biotech field, and his contributions have been widely recognized.
