Established in 2013 through the merger of An Tobar and Mull Theatre, Comar takes its name from the Gaelic word for 'confluence'. We've built on the legacy of these two well-regarded companies to become an ambitious centre for creativity. As well as presenting around 100 events a year across live music, visual arts, theatre, crafts, dance, film, literature and comedy from our home on Mull, we work with creative people across all art forms to commission and develop new and exciting work.
