Fred Satin, owner of Com-Fit Shoes, has been in the shoe business for 40 years. His goal has always been to provide comfortable shoes at affordable prices. After working in the Macy's shoe department and for several small retailers, Fred opened County Shoes in 1986in the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers. In 2008, he moved the renamed Com-Fit Shoes to E. Post Rd. in White Plains, only to have the store burn down in July 2010. He re-opened Com-Fit Shoes in its current location, 455 Central Park Ave., Scarsdale, in September 2010.
