Colvard Learning Information

Colvard Learning is a literacy-focused EdTech publisher, developing comprehensive, evidenced-based curriculums for reading and writing. Our system stresses phoneme (sound) recognition, reading, writing, and spelling. Our immersive, cumulative, and rigorously scaffolded curriculums feature animation, interactive stories, music, and games, which together create a fun, yet rigorously educational, experience. They systematically takes each child from phonemic awareness to phonics to reading and writing by engaging visual, verbal, auditory, and kinesthetic modalities at every step through handwriting and speech recognition software with immediate corrective feedback. Our programs focus on children, ages two to thirteen, and are built on the findings of leading literacy researchers and studies from the National Reading Panel (2000) and National Early Literacy Panel (2008).
