Colorado Community Bank (CCB) continues its growth well into the 21st Century. Today, you can find community banking at its best in 18 branch locations including Akron, two locations in Castle Rock, Centennial, Evans, Firestone, Greeley, Highlands Ranch, Johnstown, Longmont, Loveland, Milliken, Northglenn, Otis, Severance, Sterling, and two locations in Yuma. A modular building in Yuma housed five employees on the corner of Main Street in December of 1982 when doors were opened for official business under the auspices of First National Bank of Yuma. Though times were tough, at the direction of a new president in 1988 the bank was able to move into a remodeled building in December of 1989. Who knew this would be the headquarters for what was yet to come! A decade had past and it was 1993 when this single bank holding company converted to a multi-bank holding company under the title of Washington Investment Company with the purchase of First National Bank of Akron in 1990 and First National Bank of Otis in 1992. Four years later, 1996, Johnstown was brought on board and the new branch was named Colorado Community Bank. All new branches from this point on were trademarked, Colorado Community Bank. New branches in Castle Rock and Milliken were added to the Colorado Community Bank family in 1997 followed by a sister bank to the Yuma headquarters, located in downtown Yuma in 1998 and a Loveland branch in 1999. The year 2001 brought the purchase of Sterling's Vectra Bank and conversion to Colorado Community Bank of Sterling. Colorado Community Bank of Greeley was established in a modular in 2002 while waiting for the construction of their new building on the West end of the city. The year 2004 brought two new branches, one in Centennial and one in Severance and the Greeley staff was able to move into their new building. In 2005 new branches were opened in Firestone, Evans and Highlands Ranch. During that time First National Bank of Yuma officially changed its chartered name to Colorado Community Bank, followed by First National Bank of Akron and First National Bank of Otis. Colorado Community Bank better describes what we are, a True Community Bank! A second branch site in north Castle Rock was opened in July 2007. The Castle Rock North branch was a new construction built at the intersection of Founders & Trail Boss just east of I-25. March 2010 brought two additional branches to our company with the purchase of Liberty Savings branches in Northglenn and Longmont. With these additions to Colorado Community Bank, we are able to serve our customers at 18 different locations in Colorado.
