With more than 20 years of higher education experience in the classroom and as administrators, CollegeShock provides the necessary services to make the transition from high school to college easier. Our aim is to help students have less stress and more success by passing on the insights and knowledge gained through teaching and advising thousands of college students over our careers. Our curriculum helps coach students to recognize what college life will really be like, beyond the brochure, admissions counselor, and orientation. We provide knowledge and acclimation services to students and families preparing to enter college as well as those who are currently in college but struggling with the transition to college life and learning. The information provided through working with CollegeShock coaches, provides families and students with information that goes beyond a first-year seminar class or housing orientation, and provides students the structure and foundational knowledge needed to be successful academically and build successful relationships with faculty.
