Select Aviation College, founded in 2012 by Daniel Cyr and Patrick Richardson, has evolved into a leading institution for aspiring pilots. Recognized by Transport Canada and the Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur, the college is situated at the Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport in Canada's National Capital Region. Our mission is to produce industry-ready pilots for global airlines. With a diverse fleet of over 40 aircraft, including Cessna, Piper, Robinson R44, and Bell 505 helicopters, students experience training that reflects the challenges of Canada's four seasons. Our dedicated instructors and state-of-the-art simulators, approved by Transport Canada, ensure a high-quality education. Select Aviation College welcomes students from 35 countries, offering programs like the EWA.1F Commercial Air Transport Pilot - Integrated ATPL for the highest level of global pilot licensing. The EWA.16 program provides a fast track to a commercial pilot career, producing graduates with PPL, CPL licenses, and additional Transport Canada ratings. Our EWA.18 Commercial Air Transport Pilot - Bush Pilot program is designed for those mastering seaplane flight. Graduates, with 230 flight hours, including 50 hours of seaplane training, are prepared for immediate employment in bush flying companies. Helicopter enthusiasts find their calling in our EWA.1G Commercial Air Transport Pilot - Helicopter CPL program. Combining academic rigor with 135 hours of flight time on Robinson R44 and Bell 206 helicopters, students gain a comprehensive education.
