Since then, COIA's processing technology of glass fibres ( optical and composite ) with UV-technology and continuous R&D in machinery design and intensive development of UV-curable materials have been driven by the worldwide demand for Optical Fibre Cables and Reinforced Composites ( FRP ). As we grow, COIA started designing and building in-house first UV-Curable Composite Machine in Europe to produce Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Rod. We have extensive experience in setting up and commissioning of production facilities in the composite sector. Furthermore, COIA is providing engineering services to clients in high-end industrial applications such as for telecommunication (optical fibre, cables), surface lamination (wood, plastics, automotive headlamps), ...etc. in regard of machinery, equipment, process engineering and UV-curable materials. With our own patents we have created a special means of technology transfer and value added to our clients. We are steadily improving our quality management policy; have in the meantime introduced in addition an environmental management system and were successfully certified in 2011 by TÜV-Hessen according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2009 for development, production and sales of UV-curable inks, resins and coating materials for the processing of optical and composite glass fibres.
