Brain injury is not an event or an outcome. It is the start of a misdiagnosed, misunderstood, under-funded neurological disease. Individuals who sustain brain injuries must have timely access to expert trauma care, specialized rehabilitation, lifelong disease management and individualized services and supports in order to live healthy, independent and satisfying lives.
The Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is the Voice of Brain Injury. We are dedicated to increasing access to quality health care and raising awareness and understanding of brain injury through advocacy, education, and research. With a nationwide network of state affiliates, local chapters, and support groups, we provide help, hope, and healing to individuals who live with brain injury, their families, and the professionals who serve them.

Memory Care Home Solutions is a nonprofit organization that exists to extend and improve quality time at home for families caring for a loved one with memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Founded in 2002, and later funded through a generous grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health, Memory Care Home Solutions fills an in-home support and training void for caregivers. A Memory Care professional trains the family and professional caregiver team regarding safety of the living environment and provides strategies for addressing behavioral, independence and caregiver stress-related issues. Follow-up conferences and visits from Memory Care staff extend the service over the continuing years of the patient’s time at home. Washington University in St. Louis collaborates with the organization to evaluate outcome success. No diagnosis is necessary and services are made available regardless of inability to pay through individual donations and grant funding.
At Brain Wellness Center, we recognize that in order to provide the best care for our patients, we must provide compassionate solutions that encompass both body and mind. Our in-depth assessments take into account both physical and psychological factors, and enable us to provide solutions to improve quality of life for all of our clients. We believe in integrative care, which means treating the whole person and not just the illness.
Brain Wellness Center’s focus is on non-medication based treatments that create long-term solutions for our clients by addressing underlying issues, not just symptom reduction. While medication can be included as part of our treatment plans, our bioanalysis, qEEG Brain Mapping, and genetic testing all ensure that any medication prescribed will be the best fit for each client’s unique needs.
We offer a variety of other services including:
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Direct current stimulation
Auditory integration training
EEG Neurofeedback
Our practice include psychiatrists, neurologists, and psychologists, with a focus on brain function, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, and toxicity exposure.
THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE NOW
The goal of integrative care is to understand the relationship between the human body and mind. Focusing on this allows us to examine and explore all aspects of your health before making any treatment decisions. These factors include:
Your unique EEG brain activity
A comprehensive blood panel
Any allergies or food sensitivities
Environmental toxin exposure
Metabolic markers and neurotransmitters
Many years of neurology experience enables us to quickly assess your qEEG brain map.
