One of the most important aspects in selecting who you, as an individual or organisation, wish to work with, is 'connection'. A bit of a buzz word perhaps, but let's face it, we prefer to spend time with people we like and trust, and who can efficiently, effectively, and ethically, provide you with the service or product you require. I'm probably not your typical corporate crusader; I've built my career through tenacity, hard-work and relationship building, and have criss-crossed through a variety of roles, organisations and sectors. What I have learned over 20 plus years’ in sales and consulting, particularly in the HR, Recruitment and Training sectors, is that my passion is people; I'm curious about how they think, fascinated by what they do, and amazed by what they can achieve. As I move with a mixture of excitement and reflection toward the next stage of my career, I know that the time has come to fine-tune this passion, and I trust that my new business - 'Cognition Corner' - will enable me to assist those who might be at their own crossroads (whether individually or as an organisation) to achieve whatever it is they are seeking.
