We source, roast, brew and educate with integrity, building long-term relationships with producers while continually expanding and elevating how coffee is experienced, understood, and valued. Today, our lineup of seasonal coffees is proudly served in many of the UK's leading independent cafés, Michelin-starred restaurants, and luxury hotels, alongside our own coffee shops across the country, and a growing home subscriber community.

Coffee Done Right. Cafédirect was created in 1991 to show that business could be done differently. More than 30 years later, we’re still challenging the way coffee is bought and sold – putting the people who grow it at the heart of our business. Because coffee doesn’t grow itself. People grow it. We build long-term partnerships with farming cooperatives, buy Fairtrade coffee and work towards living incomes for coffee farmers. Our grower partnerships average more than 28 years, and farmers aren’t simply suppliers – they’re shareholders in our business and represented on our Board. We’re also the first UK-based company to follow through on our commitment to living incomes for coffee farmers, partnering with Fairtrade to ensure the farmer cooperatives we source directly from are paid Living Income Reference Prices for the coffee we buy from them. And because the future of coffee depends on the planet too, we support farmers to adapt to climate change, prioritise organic coffee and are working towards Net Zero by 2040. We’re a social enterprise and certified B Corp, with our purpose protected by an independent Guardian Share Company. Doing good isn’t something that sits alongside our business. It’s built into how our business works. We roast coffee daily and ship directly to wholesale customers, our own coffee shops, subscribers and webshop customers. And yet, freshly roasted coffee is just a small part of the equation. We source coffee directly from the farmer for two main reasons. To guarantee we get the best green beans, and to make sure the farmer is rewarded for the high quality coffee. It is actually quite simple. For the farmer to continue to produce specialty coffee, he or she should be paid extra for the hard work. In our opinion, enduring quality in coffee starts with financial stability for the farmers. To make a difference, we believe that we have to start with ourselves by making coffee experiences that contributes to this development. Founded in 2007, Coffee Collective is to this day 100% owned and run by Peter N. Dupont, Casper Engel Rasmussen and Klaus Thomsen. With several competition awards in the bag, including gold in both the World Barista Championship and World Cup Tasting championships, we continue to explore exciting coffee experiences.
