Coding for Treasure was founded by 2 entrepreneurial moms with backgrounds in technology and education. We both have young kids, and we were eager to inspire them to be creators, not just passive consumers of technology. We realized that kids need more guidance than most parents have time for to learn tech skills, and they need a community to inspire them - to become inventors, makers and creators. We created Coding for Treasure to meet this need.
