Code Architects nasce nel 2002 a Santeramo in Colle (BA), fondata da Francesco Balena e Giuseppe Dimauro, due appassionati sviluppatori software con esperienza pluriennale, nonché autori di testi tecnici pubblicati da Microsoft Press USA e speaker in conferenze tecniche in Italia e all’estero. Per un decennio Francesco e Giuseppe sono stati gli unici due MSDN Regional Director per l’Italia, un gruppo ristretto di circa 150 esperti in tutto il mondo, nominati direttamente dalla sede centrale di Microsoft a Seattle. Fin da subito Code Architects ha cominciato ad assumere i migliori talenti del territorio. Nel 2006 ci spostiamo in un villino e inauguriamo nuove divisioni che si occupano di gestione sistemi e infrastrutture Cloud e automazione industriale. Nel 2017 acquistiamo una struttura di 3.000 mq, che ci darà la possibilità di continuare a crescere per lungo tempo. Nel 2008 rilasciamo la prima versione di VB Migration Partner, da molti considerato il miglior software per la migrazione automatica di programmi Visual Basic 6 verso la piattaforma .NET. Microsoft ha riconosciuto il valore della nostra soluzione accettando Code Architects – unica software house italiana – nel programma Microsoft ISV Next, ora non più operativo, e Visual Studio Industry Partner (VSIP), riservato alle aziende che offrono soluzioni innovative per lo sviluppo software. Fin dalle prime versioni beta di Microsoft Azure in Code Architects sviluppiamo soluzioni innovative per il cloud. Nell’ottobre 2008, al rilascio ufficiale della piattaforma, eravamo una delle pochissime aziende al mondo, unica in Italia, ad aver completato la migrazione verso Azure di tre applicazioni gestionali complesse. Da allora abbiamo esteso l’attività ad altre piattaforme come Google Cloud e Amazon AWS, una conoscenza che ci permette di scegliere sempre la soluzione migliore per i nostri clienti. Nel giugno 2021 Code Architects entra a far parte del gruppo Dylog Italia Spa / Buffetti con oltre 30 aziende prestigiose.
