Digital Green is a global development organization working to create a world where farmers use technology and data to build prosperous communities. We join forces with governments, private agencies and, most importantly, rural communities themselves to co-create digital solutions that are of the community and for the community. When farmers have the tools they need to connect with one another, they’re far more likely to apply what they’ve learned on their farms and in their households – improving their own livelihoods and those of others in their community in a manner that’s nutrition-sensitive, climate-resilient, and inclusive.

Code for America is committed to building a team with a rich mix of perspectives and lived experiences because it strengthens our ability to help government deliver for everyone. We’re made up of people-centered problem solvers: technologists, advocates, and storytellers from many different backgrounds and communities around the country. We merge the best parts of technology, nonprofit, and government. We believe government at all levels can and should work well for everyone— and the mindful use of technology makes it possible. We’re known for building digital tools, but the work doesn’t stop there. We seek to transform government by showing what’s possible when communities are included in policy and service design. We use insights and ideas from real people to guide us to real solutions that break down barriers to meet community needs and improve government in meaningful ways. The GovLab's mission is to improve people's lives by changing the way we govern. Our goal is to strengthen the ability of institutions – including but not limited to governments – and people to work more openly, collaboratively, effectively and legitimately to make better decisions and solve public problems. We believe that increased availability and use of data, new ways to leverage the capacity, intelligence, and expertise of people in the problem-solving process, combined with new advances in technology and science can transform governance. Housed at New York University Tandon School of Engineering, The GovLab is funded by various donors and partner organizations.
