Consultation and review for compliance with International Codes and NFPA Fire and Life Safety Codes, and other codes, standards, ordinances and legislative requirements, as may be necessary for the successful completion of your project. The company performs paper and electronic review, prior to submittal to the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for permitting and enforcement. We are most effective when engaged to perform these services during the design and construction documentation phases of project development. We will happily assist with any individual issue that may arise at any time during the project, and attempt to offer solutions to accommodate code requirements in an existing non-conforming design. We will also assist in the development and presentation of performance based solutions, where design criteria does not specifically comply with prescriptive requirements of the related codes (Appeals) The principal partner, Jams Waite, is an Architect, licensed in Louisiana since 1990, an ICC Certified Building Official since 2007 and an AHJ with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's office for the past 12 years. Jim served on NFPA's Southern Regional Code Development Committee from 2004-2007. He is an active member of NFPA , the International Code Council (ICC), and the Building Officials Association of Louisiana (BOAL) The website shown is under construction
