Allpress Espresso is built on relationships. Our success as a coffee roaster is down to the success of the people we choose to partner with – from our first café customer, to our staff around the world and even down to John, who comes in to our Dunedin Roastery Café every morning for a long black. Human connection is why we are here and it’s the important relationships we create that steer us on the right path when we veer off course. We realise that sometimes it’s as simple as connecting two people in a café over a couple of flat whites. Michael Allpress (yes, there’s a guy) was inspired to establish Allpress Espresso after witnessing the specialty coffee revival in Seattle during the late ‘80s. Early on, our obsession with flavour saw a switch from being New Zealand’s first coffee cart, to roasting coffee in the back of a garage and supplying it to cafés around Auckland City. We’ve come a long way since 1986 and today we’re lucky enough to work with over 1000 independent cafes around the world.

Nolan Hirte founded Proud Mary Coffee Roasters and Cafe in 2009 with the aim of connecting coffee producers directly with consumers. At Proud Mary, we innovate, educate and collaborate to provide solutions for our customers. PMCR is comprised of; - Proud Mary Coffee Roasters (wholesale) - Proud Mary Cafe - Aunty Peg's Brew Bar and Kitchen - Collingwood Coffee College

Five Senses Coffee is a proudly carbon neutral wholesale coffee roaster dedicated to providing our customers with all of the products and services needed to help them serve an excellent coffee experience. Roasting commenced in 1999 in humble circumstances but with big dreams. Even at this very early stage Five Senses Coffee was driven by a commitment to excellence, great service and a strong ethical approach. Fast forward some years and things have grown considerably with significant facilities on both sides of the country staffed with some of the most talented specialty coffee professionals in the industry. Scratch a little under the surface and you’ll see the same values intact; a desire to be excellent, a passion for providing industry leading service to our customers whilst treating everyone with respect along the way. We are still just as excited about coffee as those early days and have created an impressive suite of services to give all of our customers the tools required to create an amazing coffee experience.
