CodaKid Information

CodaKid offers dynamic computer programming and video game design to children ages 8+ using cutting edge tools such as Scratch, Minecraft Forge, and more. Our coding instructors know how to make coding entertaining, and our classes encourage discovery, creative expression, and presentation. CodaKid was designed to impart real computer programming skills in a context that is fun and creative. CodaKid uses computer gaming to teach coding skills and allow our students to be creative within the context of video gaming, rather than as passive participants. CodaKid encourages students to present projects at the end of each session, which helps students develop presentation and oratory skills. CodaKid also hosts frequent Hackathons which are free for the community, and an excellent way to learn computer programming.
