Coastal Cat Clinic was founded on March 2, 2000 by Dr. Patricia Jordan. "Karen" Moore was spayed on that day and was the clinic's first patient. The open house attracted about 150 people and there were sample hand-outs and drawing for cat gifts. We started in a little strip mall over by the mall on Country Club Road. We've moved to our new location on Doris Avenue and grown a great deal since then. It is something of a statement for Jacksonville that a feline-exclusive veterinary practice has been able to survive and even prosper here. Since June 1, 2005, Coastal Cat Clinic has been owned and operated by Dr. Crystal Smith. We have grown in clientele and patient numbers. In fact, we've grown to the point that we have now even expanded into the F suite next door. Anyone that knows us knows that we have a soft spot in our heart for the kitties.
