Coalition for Kids is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1991by a group of community leaders. Our mission is "to create and support community partnerships that empower families in Josephine County to thrive." Coalition for Kids owns and operates the Family Resource Center where community organizations work together to achieve common goals, offering a multitude of resources under one roof to enable more effective and efficient service. Coalition for Kids also operates a certified child care center for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The child care center, open since 1994, has been awarded the "Quality Child Care Certificate" by the Josephine County Commission of Children and Families.
