CMF services was founded by Chris Foster in 2003 following 20 years experience in the sheet metal industry. Initially specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke commercial stairways in prestige buildings in central London. In 2007 CMF were approached by a national quantity surveying company to assist in the design and fabrication of safe and secure public safety walkways for British Rail, these were fabricated from sheet metal to exacting standards and installed "out of hours" to minimise inconvenience to the public.
