CmF is a Rajasthan based non-profit organization set-up in 2007 to catalyse the growth of community based microfinance and agriculture based livelihoods. Since 2015, CmF has expanded its functional domain to include education, skilling, nutrition, water and sanitation. To scale up the learnings of its work, CmF currently serves as a technical partner to the state government’s rural livelihoods and education programs. Being a non-profit organization, CmF raises financial resources from a host of philanthropic foundations and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs to support its programs. Technical partnerships with the government programs and other implementing agencies help CmF to amplify the impact of the learnings of its field programs. Training and Capacity Building (Seeded in 2007) Training and capacity building of Tata Trusts’ Sakh-Se-Vikas partners, other NGOs, banks, government departments on Self-Help Group based model of microfinance, research studies and workshops on sectoral issues. Technical Support to Stakeholders (2009) Technical support to SHG Federations, capacity building and knowledge partnership with state government’s Mitigating Poverty in West Rajasthan (MPOWER) program. Livelihood enhancement (2013) Livelihood enhancement for SHG members through the Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojna (MKSP) – consortium project of SSV partners, facilitating partnership of SHG federations with the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) program. Piloting a Multi-thematic Approach (2015) Transformation Initiative launched in South Rajasthan with a focus on layering education, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions with SHG and livelihoods programs. Deepening Multi-thematic Programs (2020 onwards) Adopting a saturation approach in multi-thematic programs across multiple districts and technical partnerships at district and state level in livelihoods, education, nutrition and water security.
