CloudBurst builds AI-ready data center campuses that bring their own power. Our flagship is San Marcos Data Center I in Central Texas: a 1.2-gigawatt campus master-planned between Austin and San Antonio, with the first 50 MW phase scheduled to go live in Q4 2026. The campus is powered behind the meter by on-site natural gas generation. It draws nothing from the Texas grid and adds nothing to a neighbor's electric bill. It is cooled by a closed-loop system: filled once, topped up less than 1% a year, using about 24,000 gallons a day across the whole campus. That is a number you can check, not a slogan. We think a data center should be the easiest neighbor in the county to understand. So we publish the numbers that matter — power, water, and jobs (480 permanent positions at full build-out) — and we answer questions in public. Follow this page for three things each week: The Grid Read (what the ERCOT queue and PUC filings actually say), How It's Built (plain-English engineering on cooling, behind-the-meter power, and substations), and From the Site (real progress from San Marcos). Founded 2022. Headquartered in Denver. Building in Texas.
