Who are you? Cloud 12 are specialist drone cinematographers who work exclusively on film and television projects. Our years of specialist knowledge, attention to detail, professional operation and safety conscious approach has earned us an enviable reputation in the industry. Formed in 2008, Cloud 12 is amongst the most experienced in this new and emerging industry. How can you help me? Cloud 12 not only operate heavy lift aerial platforms carrying anything from the RED Weapon to the Alexa Mini, we can also manage the entire drone unit operation. Liaising with landowners, authorities, permissions and certifications are handled. Acting as an extension of the main production team, we pride ourselves on delivering the 'vision' without exposing our clients to the day to day hassle. I want to fly in difficult city environments! You aren't the first! Cloud 12 were the first company to fly a heavy lift drone in downtown London. This required us to get over 10 key stakeholders on-board including the CAA, Police, The Diplomatic Protection Group and the city council to name a few. Our approach and professionalism to this problem is now cited as the gold standard for flying in London. We have since used our experience to obtain permissions in difficult areas with little fuss and with a quick turnaround. Having said that - we are still only human, but test us out! Can you remain with the production as it travels? Yes! We can fly in different countries and welcome extended periods with the same production. It makes it easier for us to become super-efficient when gelling with the main production unit and gives our clients a consistent look on-screen.
