Clooti Information

Clooti was established in 2006 by Elaine Brown and Rachael Pollitt. The Clooti founders originated from a combination of Fine Art, Design, Film and TV backgrounds, a unique work experience and perspective. We embarked on web design in the early days of the web, building e-commerce and accessible content management system websites in 1999. We then joined forces to build websites for small businesses and charities in Northern Laos while travelling in 2005. Clooti was born and set up home in Edinburgh in 2006. Our client base is diverse, ranging from corporate businesses to charities, social enterprises, local independents, artisans, authors, craftspeople and performers. We believe in useable, accessible design. Our approach to every client is bespoke and we adhere to the latest web standards, compliancy and best practice.
