Clinical Oncology Research Excellence, LLC (CORE) collaborates with medical oncology practices on the scientific and administrative fronts to create or continue development of their clinical research needs, including all aspects of site assessment, pipeline development and business management. Our purpose is to partner with physicians to provide the best options for their patients while creating a financially sound research program. Participating physicians are invited to provide early input on the scientific and clinical merits of trials being considered so that they are engaged in the development of the final protocol, leading to potentially greater enrollment, better protocol compliance and higher quality data. This model is well positioned to meet the growing demand for high enrolling sites and high quality data submission, while containing costs. This purposefully sized network will focus on sites that have a commitment to maintaining or further developing a high standard for clinical trial participation. These sites will be connected and supported by CORE's standardized management services, but will be encouraged to maintain autonomy in certain areas and direct interaction with study sponsors during the course of their studies. CORE will provide essential development and operating support for the sites, while allowing the sponsor to maintain the appropriate "investigator-centric" relationship.
