ClimateWest, launched in January 2021, is a regional hub for climate services in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba with a mandate to support the Prairie provinces to address climate change vulnerabilities through planning and action. From acute challenges like, flood and fire, to more gradual shifts in temperature and precipitation patterns, ClimateWest’s activities increase access to climate data, tools and training to help the Prairies build resilience to climate change.
