Climate.Careers Information

Climate.Careers matches mission-aligned job seekers with employment opportunities at organizations working to mitigate climate change. Through our online job board and in-person career fairs, we support the betterment of our planet by helping people find fulfilling careers that have a positive impact on our climate. Climate.Careers is a community of individuals, for-profits, non-profits, educational institutions, researchers, and members of government working to address the causes and effects of climate change. We believe that climate change presents us with an exciting and pressing invitation to realign ourselves with the needs of our planet and the many other species that we share it with. Climate change is an urgent crisis in and of itself, the severity of which rivals that of nuclear war – and furthermore, climate change exacerbates the severity of all other global crises with a multiplying effect. However, we don't believe in harping too heavily on the doom and gloom of our current predicament. Instead, we aim to inspire hope, optimism, and action by focusing on the opportunity we have to choose how we will function within our global ecosystem moving forward – namely, that we may move away from functioning as a parasitic species, and instead, become a keystone species. Instead of being a burden for the rest of Earth (and future generations of humans), we can instead work to become stewards of our home planet. No matter what solutions we come up with to combat climate change, working people will be at the center of the positive action that must be taken.
