Clemson Downs Information

Clemson's only continuing care retirement community! Clemson Downs offers Independent Living Apartments with a community feel of private dining, on and off-site activities, and other available services. One of these other services is Home Health, or what we call Concierge. Concierge services are for Independent residents who need help with more minute activities of daily living. Clemson Downs also offers Assisted Living apartments for those whose needs have progressed beyond living independently and beyond Concierge services. Assisted Living has around the clock nursing services, meals, and housekeeping services daily. The last level of care Clemson Downs offers is Skilled Nursing, or what we call our Healthcare Center. The Healthcare Center has around the clock nursing, meals, and housekeeping services like Assisted Living, but they also offer futher assistance for activities of daily living. Clemson Downs has also decided to build a Memory Care unit and add on to the Healthcare Center the beginning of next year (2014). Our Memory Care unit will be specifically for Dementia care. Because we have life in our hands, Clemson Downs looks for amazing staff members! We have thorough hiring processes and offer great benefits to our employees. We hire for all departments at various times of the year. These include: nurses, nurse assistants, dietary, and environmental services (housekeeping, laundry, and maintanence).
