Two Ladies & the Horde Behind Them In 2018, we decided that making art together was more fun than making art independently. We had already been doing our own things for awhile and when you're married to someone, it's hard to keep your art completely independent from them (y'know, if you actually talk to one another). So, we started Cleave -- you can find out the most about it on our website. The short version is this: we're queer ladies, we love making things that are joyful and silly, and we have a literal Horde in our house. Not only do we have a teenage son, but we also have two dogs and seven (yes, seven) cats! So if you see a dog or cat drawing, that's almost always going to be one of our furry friends. We love them and they are a hoot.
