Clearpath Derm includes Clearpath 3.0, our digital pathology software solution and Clearpath Education, our division dedicated to dermatopathology education. Clearpath 3.0 is the first tool that allows dermatologists to access and view their own slides in a digital format from a tablet or iPad. Developed by a leading dermatopathology lab, Dermpath Lab of Central States (DLCS), dermatologists using Clearpath 3.0 simply send biopsies to the lab, and within 48 hours they receive crisp digital slide images on their tablet, iPad or other mobile device. Interpreting dermatologists are able to confirm diagnoses on glass slides returned to them from the lab. Providing a new way for dermatologists to gain quick access to their own slides, Clearpath 3.0 has all the functionality necessary to view a case, create a report, and if necessary request recuts, special stains, or get immediate access to a DLCS dermatopathologist for a consultation or global read. Dermatologists reading their own slides in a CLIA certified setting can bill for the PC component with glass confirmation. As a mobile solution, Clearpath 3.0 can be used from anywhere —making reviewing whole slide digital images easier and faster.
