CleanTech North has supported Canada’s cleantech sector since 2008. Much of that work now centres on Canada’s Clean Economy Investment Tax Credits, SR&ED and other incentives. We help companies identify which credits and benefits apply to their projects, build them into capital plans from the start, and access financing against them to close the gap between spending and refund. For technology developers, that can mean stronger economics to put in front of customers. For the companies adopting clean technology, it can mean a stronger business case and a faster payback. Our clients range from early-stage technology companies to established operators in mining, equipment manufacturing, hospitality and beyond. For operators, we also scout and identify technologies that fit their operations and connect them with the Canadian companies building them, helping develop a stronger domestic cleantech supply chain. Our approach draws on years of supporting hundreds of companies and investors, and advising government departments on policy affecting the sector across Canada. Our founder also chairs CPA Canada’s Clean Economy Working Group. That combination of investor, policy and operating perspective shapes how we look at every project.
