As part of the Delorean Corporation, CleanTech Energy supported the development of the waste to energy project at the Richgro site south of Perth. The project diverts food and organic waste from landfill, captures the biogas and generates electricity. The process decreases the amount of waste going to landfill, prevents strong greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere, and increases the amount of renewable electrcity in WA. CleanTech Energy purchases all grid export electrciity from the facility.
