The solution represents transformational change achieved through the commercialisation of new, environmentally-conscious ore processing that sets a new ‘gold standard’. It is the mineral processing technology of the future. Developed over more than a decade by CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, the process replaces cyanide with a safer and gentler reagent called thiosulphate.
