When something is done right it results in an intangible experience, a subtle luxury that can be seen, touched and felt. Our desire is to create a shared experience which results from achieving a level of quality in our work that in turn creates a pride of ownership in every piece. Our work explores ideas that challenge prevailing conventions within the world of furniture design by inviting people to re-examine their expectations of what furniture should be and how it is traditionally used. The result is a collection which blends the familiar with the extraordinary and stands at the crossroads of art and design in a way that we hope will inspire and connect with people on an emotional level. Founded in 2017 by Quinlan Osborne, Martin Poitras and Philip Hazan, Claste has been included in several significant design and lifestyle publications around the world including Elle Décor, T Magazine, Architectural Digest, Wallpaper, Surface Magazine and many others. Our studio and fabrication facilities are based in Montreal and we are represented in New York and Miami by Les Atelier Courbet's gallery for master craftsmen. AWARDS
