2020 is a scary time to be a student. That’s why we’re building #Classof2020, a free online learning platform linking graduates and businesses together. Our ambition is to help graduates not only survive but thrive in this uncertain new world, using professional training materials and personalised development schemes to create a roadmap towards employment. Everyone wants to see the economy bounce back – which is why we’re calling on UK businesses to help build the Classof2020 platform. Our idea is simple: take the in-house training materials that UK businesses use for their own staff, and share it with students for free online. The benefits go both ways. Graduates can study from home and strengthen their skills in any area they choose and businesses can raise their profile among young people, while connecting with talented, like-minded graduates. By creating a place where these groups can link together, we can increase opportunity. Together we can help the British economy hit the ground running.
