Crown Plastics (Aust) Pty Ltd manufacture a range of proprietary lines in Sydney and also offers a custom moulding service that encompasses product and tool design, moulding and assembly facilities. Poly Protective Coatings was formed by Rob Gordon in 1982 initially to spray polyurethane elastomeric coatings for the Bowen Basin coal mines. Since then the company has grown in size employing over 30 staff and have increased their range of products and services to include Alumina Ceramics, Engineering Plastics, Epoxy Grouts, Cast Polyurethane Elastomers and Polyethylene Pipe Welding/Installation and special projects. To accommodate the growth of the company, their Paget office and workshop located at 185-187 Boundary Road, Mackay has doubled in size since it was built in 1992. The company's success has been built on a reputation for providing quality work on time and at very competitive rates. Poly Protective Coatings continue to service some of Australia's largest industrial site operations.
