Sara, The Tailory's head designer and founder, is an established tailor and designer. Her love for fashion has taken her on a quest to find training in as many facets of the fashion industry as possible. Sara spent 7 years expertly working as a Tailor for a men's designer suit company, all the while attending Grad school and acquiring a Master of Science in Fashion Design. In Grad school, she studied design and construction of children's wear, men's wear, swim wear, tailoring, and extensively women's wear. Sara designed and made an award winning collection of one-of-a-kind wedding gowns with complex couture finishes. She has designed and made other one-of-a-kind women's wear pieces, one of which won Philly Mag's 1st Annual Fashion Project. Sara is a dedicated individual that views alterations and tailoring work as an art.
