Heytesbury Wine Group incorporates Margaret River's founding wine estate, Vasse Felix (established 1967) and the Region's dedicated Blanc de Blancs house, Idée Fixe. The estate grown, made and bottled wine collections are distributed to leading restaurants and retail partners, worldwide. Vasse Felix Wines’ four outstanding vineyards, two specialist winemaking facilities, and award-winning hospitality and tourism experiences are brought to life by a devoted team of more than 50 staff. We combine a boutique approach to crafting our wines, with a professional approach to running our business.

The establishment of Sandalford Wines in 1840 coincided with both the first European settlement of the Colony of Perth and the birth of Western Australia's world famous wine industry. Sandalford’s wine tourism facilities and viniculture operations have developed iconic status in the past 35 years since the Prendiville family acquired the business. Under their guidance the Swan Valley estate has been extensively enhanced and redeveloped, and today Sandalford’s extensive portfolio of wines - along with our wine tourism, concert, retail and food and beverage facilities - are recognised among the very best in Australia. In one of the most sustainable wineries in the country, we take pleasure in crafting our current collection of Prendiville, Estate Reserve, 1840, Margaret River Range and Winemaker award-winning wines. With advanced viticultural practices and a progressive winemaking team, we have a long-standing reputation for quality and over-delivering at every price point.

Swings & Roundabouts is located at the Northern end of Caves Road in the Margaret River Wine region and boasts one of the most picturesque views in the region. The Swings team have a strong belief that this part of the region offers fruit that develops solid, well structured wines that have style and finesse. The philosophy is to capture and produce wines that express the characteristics of the vintage in which they were grown, creating fresh, honest and flavoursome wines that deliver consistent value for money. To do this, there is a clear understanding that what is lost on the roundabouts, we pick up on the swings. Our Winemaking team, Paul Birch and Brian Fletcher are well credentialed, serious winemakers who boast a cumulative 27 years of experience in the region. In addition to this they have together undertaken Vintages in Italy and Sicily or the Mezzogiorno as it is sometimes called which generally refers to the southern portion of the continental Italian Peninsular and Sicily. An area of the Mediterranean with a unique and diverse culture...similar to that of Margaret River. The Cellar Door at Swings also features traditional Italian wood fired pizza’s, as well as a serious coffee machine, cakes, comfy leather sofas and live music on Sundays. Come and see Chef Ivan Zecca throw your pizza dough in the air Wednesday through to Sunday and relax on our veranda with a glass of Swings.
