ClaimCloud provides an option to companies or individuals that are owed money by an insolvent or bankrupt company. Instead of waiting an unknown period of time until the end of the insolvency, creditors can choose to sell their claim to ClaimCloud. Rather than waiting years, with little control or certainty of a return, you can receive a payment for your claim and strike it off your balance sheet for good. The valuation of your claim is made on a combination of expected recovery, risk, estimated duration of the insolvency and other circumstances that may be specific to each claim. ClaimCloud will primarily be a buyer of unsecured creditor claims but also has the ability to acquire priority and secured claims.
