Restoring the Long-term Economic, Environmental and Social Health of our Cities: CityCraft is specifically designed to turnaround distressed areas within our cities. Most cities, planners and developers attempt to help these areas with plans that focus too heavily on isolated efforts, streetscape beautification and buildings. These disparate and cosmetic improvements are important, but the CityCraft team digs deeper. We begin by mapping a community’s assets: human, physical, natural and financial. We connect groups from the private, public and non-profit sectors and build consensus around a vision for the future with a proven community involvement model. CityCraft sets the stage for massive value creation by mobilizing entire communities to contribute to the success of their own neighborhoods. The results are powerful. In addition to local community investment, a platform is developed to bring in financing capital, grants and bonding capacity for building construction, infrastructure, non-profit support and business development.
