No matter what you are looking for, you can find it here. As our billboard says, We are Growing. Melrose has seen nearly $200 million worth of building permits over the past eight years. This is due to the construction/expansion of the CentraCare Health Hospital, CentraCare Health Melrose Park View Center and Jennie-O Turkey Store, the construction of Arce Auto and Car Sales, Cornerstone Restaurant, Warrior Boats, and the expansions of Melrose Metalworks, Melrose Electric, Carstens Industries, Proliant Land OLakes and Melrose One Stop to name a few. We have also seen remodeling of businesses on our Main Street as well as planned expansions of Caseys Gas Station on the south side of town. We are positioned well for the future. We have a top-notch school district servicing our community with a strong academic program and multiple state championship honors. We are very pleased with our municipal recreational facilities. Melrose has two large parks, ice rink and warming house, multiple ball diamonds, public pavilion, connected walking and snowmobile trails, camping along the Sauk River, and a fishing pier.
