City Livery Yacht Club Information

Established in 1956, the City Livery Yacht Club isn’t just for mariners and boat owners, it’s for anyone who enjoys the water and mixing with nautical people. We enjoy access to some of the country’s most prestigious venues to host our events and dinners. Social events are organised throughout the year (see the Programme of Events on our website). Events are geared towards Livery members and their families who enjoy being afloat, on both inland and tidal waters, simply messing about with boats and enjoying social conviviality. We are proud to run the longest consecutive sports event in the Livery Calendar - The Inter-Livery Regatta. Livery Companies race for the coveted Lord Mayor's Cup. Recent events include: Fitting Out Dinner - Spring Cowes Inter-Livery Regatta – May Presentation Dinner in Cowes - May Commodore’s Dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron - September Laying Up Dinner - Autumn Regattas, Rallies and Cruises in Company Membership Benefits include: - Exclusively for Liverymen, Freemen of Livery Companies, Freeman of the City of London and Freemen of the Guild of Freeman. - Permission to fly a ‘Defaced Blue Ensign’ - A programme of events to engage all the family - Sailing, motor yachting, dining and socialising opportunities in some exclusive venues - A modest annual subscription
