From 1993 to 2000, City Electronics's main business was retail of different national and international brands like PEL, Dawlance, Waves, Sony, General, Panasonic, and many more. By 2000, City Electronics started distributing different brands through its sister concern Afaq Brothers. In 2004 City Electronics entered into a joint venture with AAA corporation, PEL Pakistan, and Sony Corporation for the distribution of their products.
