Welcome to CitrineLiving! Designing every day for everyday life. My name is Tamara Anka, I am a designer and lover of design of all sorts interiors, illustration, fashion, graphic design, typography, any form of art gets me excited! I studied graphic design and worked in fashion retail marketing for many years, starting as a junior graphic designer, right out of school, and working my way up to Creative Director for major Canadian fashion retailers always with passion and enthusiasm to create exciting and enticing marketing campaigns. My passion for interiors and decorating stems from my childhood having a mother who is a true artist at heart, she opened my eyes from a very young age to everything, from fine art, to decorating (our home was constantly being reinvented!), to entertaining. I have grown up not only pursuing design and the arts, but I truly live a life surrounded by the things that love and find most inspiring, including my incredible husband and kids who support me every day! Citrine is my birthstone, and is believed to bring abundance into ones life and also possesses healing properties with the flow of positive energy. I hope to inspire you with beauty, as you peruse my site I believe beauty in any form can create a positive experience that feeds the soul.
