Citizens Llc Information

Citizens Elevator has been owned by Robert Mansfield since December 31, 1988. Over the next 15 years Citizens would expand from one location to five. The Otto Rd. plant was purchased in 1992, followed by Potterville in 1996, Charlotte in 2002 and Battle Creek in 2003. Citizens Elevator has gone on to employ more than 30 people and serve more than 300 farmers stretching from Barry County east to Ingham County and Ionia County south to Jackson County and into Ohio and Indiana and beyond. Citizens services have expanded to include trucking, over seas container hauling, custom application, GPS and soil sampling, fertilizer spreading, custom seed treating, along with chemicals, fertilizer, seed and internationally marketed specialty soybeans.
