The Citizen Protection Group, LLC strives to develop awareness in citizens. Once awareness is achieved, we guide each student in the transition from being an average citizen into a prepared citizen who is capable of deterring, preventing and minimizing encounters with criminals. Our training programs are centered around a belief that prepared citizens have a balance of the following four components:Physical Conditioning - Training of the body to endure physical stressTactical Skills - Training in tactical concepts such as physical positioning, fighting, weapons, preplanning, etc. Knowledge - Accumulation of training, education, and experiencesMental Conditioning -Training of the mind to endure mental stressWe take painstaking measures to ensure a balance in each of the four components where most self-defense programs simply focus on tactical skills related to fighting. Citizen Protection Group, LLC training is focused on preventive concepts of personal and property protection. The Citizen Protection Group, LLC offers a different approach to training. All training provided by the Citizen Protection Group, LLC is based on a conceptional training model. We present ideas and concepts for the student to evaluate and understand. This training model supports an understanding of why a concept results in a desired outcome. Unlike most traditional self-defense programs, we avoid technique instruction due to its failure rate during real world applications. Technique instruction develops a "follow the leader" mentality that often results in a student failing to understand why and how an end result is achieved. We are painfully aware that some citizens live with unique situations that cause them to seek training for personal protection. We are more than happy to discretely meet with an individual or group and evaluate their training needs. The Citizen Protection Group, LLC cares deeply about who receives our training. There is an application process to join the Citizen Protection Group, LLC. Prior to attending the Level I certification class, an application must be submitted and approved by the staff.
