Riese & Müller is a German premium manufacturer of e-bikes, cargo bikes and folding bikes. Founded in 1993 by Markus Riese and Heiko Müller, the owner-managed company now employs about 800 people at its site in Mühltal near Darmstadt and sells worldwide via an exclusive network of specialist dealers. Alongside founder Heiko Müller, Dr Sandra Wolf is responsible for the strategic direction of Riese & Müller as managing partner. Markus Riese is a partner and engineering mentor in the company. With its pioneering products and as a specialist for cargo bikes and fast HS bikes, Riese & Müller is shaping the mobility of tomorrow and stands for a sustainable lifestyle, application-orientated product development and innovative e-bike technologies. In addition to the continuous further development of its products, responsibility for people and the environment is part of Riese & Müller's overall strategy. The company is guided by its four main pillars of responsibility: culture, ecology, social responsibility and economy.

Our mission is to keep the planet a livable place for future generations and we're committed to encouraging more people to use bicycles for their transport needs. We design and manufacture bicycles designed for urban mobility, specifically electric bicycles, cargo bicycles, and folding bicycles. Our company is young, diverse and growing quickly. The work is fast-paced and our standards are high. We are always testing, trying, sometimes failing - but always, we are learning and getting better. We are headquartered in Taiwan but our team is also spread around the world in the United States, Finland, France, Germany, and the UK. This diversity in perspective not only makes the work environment more interesting, but also makes us healthier as an organization. Our products are sold in 46 markets by great partners who have grown to become friends. Although we love to have fun and design outstandingly great products, we're also here to make a difference. Beyond focusing all of our efforts on useful products, we also donate 1% of net profits every year to social and environmental causes.

With our electric cargo bikes, we want to make the city a greener and quieter place. We also want to make attractive and high quality cargo bikes that use the newest technology and state of the art materials to move people and freight through town in the fastest possible way. By doing so we aim to reduce the use of scooters and cars. Not just in the Netherlands. Our goal is to make the best cargo bikes in the world. That’s why today we are already doing business in 18 countries.
