Circus WA Information

CircusWA and the WA Circus School (WACS) is a not for profit organisation, based in Old Customs House at 8 Phillimore Street, Fremantle. We aim to promote circus skills in the community both as a means to improve health and also as form of artistic expression. It is our desire to create and develop a more, well rounded circus performer, to provide students and participants the opportunities to be skilled in multi circus disciplines and apparatus, whilst also giving them the chance to forge specialist skills. We also wish to create a fun and social circus experience for all our students and participants, allowing those who wish to pursue a career in circus the chance to do so, but enabling those who desire to enjoy circus as a hobby the opportunity to learn skills in a safe and non threatening environment. We have classes for all ages and all abilities from 2+ years to professional performers - and the basis of all our classes is about the spirit of community, skill exploration, development and having fun! At WACS, we believe in allowing students to flourish at their own pace in a non competitive and nurturing environment. Students have the opportunity to learn a variety of circus skills and have optional showcase opportunities throughout the year.
